Hey Family!
Just wanted to take a second to ask you all to pray for my family. My grandpa was taken to the hospital last week. He has been on a breathing machine for some time and recently got pneumonia. Transporting him was a bit difficult. When they got him to the hospital they realized he also had a broken hip (from the moving – weak bones from years of medicines/steroids). He is trying to rip the oxygen cord out. They had to restrain him and then he attempted to bite thru it. They can’t do anything about his hip at this time because of complications. He was responding with eye movements, etc. until about 2 days ago. Now he is basically just sedated (due to the hip pain) and is not responding to anyone or anything. The doctors say there is nothing else to be done. It’s a difficult time for my family and for me. Pray for thier hearts and that somehow thru this they will have an experince with the loving God. (they are not Christians). While praying for my family…pray also that in my grandpa’s last days – he will truly be able to give his heart to God. He’s never been one to believe in ‘spiritual’ things…I believe God is speaking to his heart in every second…and that those whispers to his heart will change his destiny.
