Update: Cambodia.

Sorry for the delay in posting. My team and I have been living in a remote area about an hour and half outside of the capital, Phnom Penh. We are living very primitively, so Internet is not even in the picture. Our ministry is visiting people in the neighborhood and sharing our faith. We pray for people and share God’s love whenever we can. We are also teaching kids English. We have two groups the older kids and the younger kids. I absolutely love it. I could take each and every one home with me!! We are living in a tree house like shelter on our mats under mosquito nets. The surrounding is very beautiful and peaceful. The people here in Cambodia are amazing. Our translators are awesome and their love for the Lord shines so bright everyday. They are so friendly and so beautiful. We have come to terms with the squatty potty and bucket showers. They are not to bad. The food is great, a lot or rice, but a lot of veggies too! I truly am in love Cambodia. So far it has been my favorite. We are in the coolest month, so the weather is really nice; we sometimes have to put on light jackets at night.

God has been revealing Himself to me in brand new ways this past moth and this month as well. He is teaching me love recklessly; He is showing me just how much He delights in me. That He is pursuing me daily, and knows my every detail of my life. My knowledge of God and my heart for feeling God is beginning to mesh. I am feeling more than knowing lately, in a good way. Obedience is the word for this month. It is something God is teaching me in great detail. I can’t wait to share in more detail what I have been learning with you.

I also want to update everyone on my fundraising status. I made my January 1st deadline of $11,000. A huge thank you goes to the Bridges family for showing me just how much God loves me, and how He provides for me. Words cannot express my gratitude.

I have one more deadline. It is in March. The final amount of my expenses is due. As of right now I am approximately $4,200 away from that deadline. That’s it! Isn’t that amazing! Fundraising has truly opened my eyes to God and His promises. I am so thankful for all of you who have listened to that whisper of God asking you to join me on this mission around the world by supporting me. I am forever grateful!
