Thank you to those of you who have decided to support me financially and through prayer in The World Race. Asking for help does not come easily for me. On most tasks I would prefer to struggle through on my own rather than depending on or burdening someone else. So I knew it would be humbling to raise support, but I was not prepared for how humbling it would be to receive it. The Lord has blessed me richly through your encouragement and generous gifts. In 16 short days I will say a very tearful goodbye to my family and then I will climb on a plane to head for Mexico. Before that can happen I need to have $13,000 in pledges or support. At this time I have $10,265 in monthly pledges and special gifts. So I need $2,735.
