We returned this morning from debrief on Koh Samed Island. It was beautiful! It was an amazing place to rest and relax from an intense month. We had a session in the morning and evening. The rest of the time was filled with relaxing, playing, and having lots of one and one meetings. We talked a lot this debrief about what to do after the race. I’m not sure of immediate plans, but I know that God is putting desires and dreams in my heart for later in life, but still figuring out how it will fit together. The life planning day was helpful as it confirmed some thoughts I had and was also very encouraging as we got to affirm each other. Here are some pictures from the debrief:

Outside our resort

Boat ride to the island.

Mmmm…Pad Thai

The nightly fire show

Beautiful night time dinners on the beach.
We are leaving at 6am tomorrow morning for Cambodia. It will be a 12 hour bus ride to reach Phnom Penh. We will be there for a few days for briefing before heading to Batambong where we will be spending our month doing student ministry with college students and teenagers. We think we will be helping with English classes and clubs as well as helping out in a nearby orphanage and military hospital. Please join us in pray for safe travel!
