We made it to Africa!  After a 14 hour flight from Buenos Aires to London, then a 12 hour layover in London spent walking around the city during “our night” time then an 11 hour flight to S. Africa, we made it!  Tired, but we made it!  We settled in to our accomodations here and stayed awake the whole day so that we could sleep at night.  I got in a good 12 hours of sleep and plan to do the same tonight 🙂  Squad B arrives tomorrow, then we will race on Sunday, and then its off to Mozambique.  We will send our passports in on Monday for visas, but it takes a few days for the visas to come in.  Once they are in, we will take a 2 day bus trip to our respective places in Mozambique.  We were not planning to go to Mozambique, but a little over a month ago, they were devastated by a cyclone.  Some of our contacts here have told us it is equal to Katrina, but nobody knows about it.  So far, we know we will be going there to help with disaster relief.  We have heard many different things about what we are going to do.  I assume this will be our most intense ministry yet.  Please pray for us – for safety, for health, for ministry.  Thanks for all your prayers and support!  I am not sure how often I will be able to write or blog in the next month.  I am pretty sure I will get another internet opportunity before leaving for Mozambique.  I hope you are all doing well!
