Being blessed with beach ministry means starting every morning with a collective, peaceful stroll on the beach. For weeks we walked in search of sea glass, driftwood and sea beans; but I was lucky enough to find more than just that.

After about the 100th piece of sea glass it became clear that we weren?t just looking for people?s trash that got washed around in the ocean and polished off by waves; we were in fact finding treasures that God laid on the sand for us. He knew before that bottle was ever made, ever purchased, ever used that I would get a piece of it. He knew that on the very morning that the sea glass arrived upon the beach that I would walk in the perfect wavering path to come along such a treasure to capture my eye. God laid every single piece of sea glass, every single shell, every little thing He knew I would be drawn to specifically there for me.

I started seeing every treasure of the day as a small gift from God. I forgot all about trash and the ocean and simply pictured God?s big hand placing treasures with my name on them along my beach walk path.

It warms my heart to know that God cares about every tiny detail like sea glass. He wants to give us treasures and gifts all day long. In every second there is a gift from God nearby; I just need to keep my hunting eyes open.
