Many of you have asked about when and where we will be able to receive mail throughout the race, and we were recently told that we can receive mail in Peru. If you would like to send me a little love from home, we will be there mid march through april…Local post offices should be able to tell you how long it will take your package to arrive. Letters, cards, or padded envelopes will arrive faster and should arrive unopened. If you would like to send something bigger, there are a few guidelines…box must be shoebox size or smaller, contents must be written on the outside, and if the contents are worth more than $33 then we will be taxed when it arrives. Boxes will most likely be opened when we receive them.

The only things that I can think of that I would really like to have are Vanilla Chai Tea mix, Pictures from home, Brite Crawler gummy worms, and cute little stickers for the kids we meet, but feel free to use your imagination for anything else. Please just keep in mind that anything you send has to either be used up, eaten, or be able to fit in my backpack when we leave Peru!
