Most of you may be wondering: “What is this The World Race?” So here it is… The World Race is an 11-month and 11-country mission trip through Adventures in Missions. We will be spending a month in each country we go to.
After hearing this you may be wondering what I will be doing?? Our mission work will vary month to month. We will be doing anything that needs to be done. Our first mission is to bring Christ’s love and saving grace to all those we come into contact with. Other things we will be doing include serving orphans, feeding the hungry, door to door visits/evangelism, prayer walks, ministering to children and women in red light districts, and so much more.
This September my squad and I will launch for these 11 crazy, scary and all together amazing months. We will be serving in Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
I know you’re all thinking it by now…the “How in the world is she going to do that?…Isn’t that dangerous?…and How much is something like that going to cost?
So first off, you’re right in thinking HOW? I question that myself! I love my family so much and have never been away from them that long! I could miss so much in a year’s time! I know that I could never do this alone! I will need to rely fully on my Father God to get me through each day. I know that there is risk and danger in what I will be doing, but I would rather be at the center of God’s will than safe at home.
I need to fundraise $16,267. GULP! I have fundraised for other things before but never have I had to raise that much. So this number is scary for me. But I truly believe that where God calls, He also provides. So I am laying it all in His hands. I cannot do any of this on my own, but with Him I can do so much more than I ever imagined.

Pray for my finances; that God would supply them quickly. You can also be praying that God would prepare me mentally, physically, and spiritually. That His Kingdom will come, and hearts will know Jesus. Pray for not just me, but my squad as well, and all those we come into contact with.
Tell others! The power of prayer is so much stronger than we truly know. Therefore, the more who know, the more will be able to pray.
