So my birthday is coming up on September 1st and a fellow World Racer has started a birthday movement of sorts and this is how it goes:
This year I am turning 23 so I am encouraging all my friends and family to ditch the gifts, cake and balloons and donate $23 towards my trip! What a great way to say "Happy Birthday Aisha" and to be a part of bringing HOPE to the NATIONS!
Perhaps you have considered supporting this trip but realized how many bills are piled up and how much tuition is going to cost you in the fall…but $23 is an affordable way to be a part of this. For example:
$23 is how much it will cost you to buy 2 CDS.
$23 is how much it will cost you to go to the movies with a friend and purchase a lrg popcorn and pop. (on Tuesday night of course)
$23 is how much it will cost you to give up your daily Tims coffee for approx. 2 weeks.
$23 is how much it will cost you not to buy 1 new shirt this month.
…and so on.
