The Fundraising Begins!

All of my support letters are out and it feels so good! I am confident that God will move in everyone's heart who is supposed to donate. So incredibly blessed to have such generous people in my life! Thank you all for your support through both finances and prayers!

I have posted on Facebook and I mentioned in my letter that I will be selling shirts to help raise money! They are $20 and a softer, vintage tee. If you would like a shirt please email me at [email protected] with the quantity and sizes you would like!  The money raised from selling these shirts will more than likely cover my expenses that the $15,500 will not. This includes gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, etc.), vaccinations, and airfare (both to and from training camp as well as the launch site in September).

I also will be selling bracelets through an organization called Threads of Hope. Threads of Hope is connected with around 250 families in the Philippines who make these bracelets. ToH works with people who are fundraising for their own mission trips. 50% of the proceeds go to the person selling the bracelets and the other 50% goes straight to the families making the bracelets. Talk about a win-win situation! I will be selling the round bracelets for $2 a piece or three bracelets for $5. Headbands are available for $30 with a $10 deposit, so if you request them I can order those as well!

Thank you all for your prayers and support! I am SO grateful for the generosity and love from everyone! As of the moment I'm typing this (4:00 pm on March 25th) I am 8.7% of the way there and have 38.5% of my first deadline covered!
